Our wonderful Youth Street Band – Sound Invaders, gave a fantastic performance in Taunton on July 9th!
A Sound of the Streets day festival in Taunton took place on Sunday 9th July in Castle green, where Sound Invaders played alongside The Little Big Horns and The Big Noise Street Band! Their set was absolutely awesome – follow them on instagram and facebook to find out where they’ll be next!
Sound Invaders have been rehearsing together every Wednesday at Castle School since 2022. They are Taunton’s Youth Street Band and have been working together with Tim Hill and Julie Meikle to learn a fantastic repertoire of tunes, ranging from traditional street band tunes to Bob Marley! They make an awesome sound with an array of brass, wind and percussion instruments and have a very lovely time doing it. You may have seen them on stage at Sound of the Streets 2022!
